I have had this freezer for 6 months and have had to defrost it 4 times as the build up of frost prevents lifting the baskets out and thick frost builds up on front, back and right side but not left side. It runs up to 16 hours a day, which to me is excessive, is the lid not air-tight. I haven’t been able to get a satisfactory answer from the dealer or from Frigidaire technicians, it now has about 1 1/2 inches of frost on the inside and that is just in the last month.
I want some answers on this problem before my warranty runs out this hasn’t been a very positive purchase and Frigidaire won’t assist me. I always thought a warranty was a replacement if you aren’t satisfied, but no one has suggested this except me.
